Adolescent Program: Rooted & Real
A guide to staying grounded and true to yourself
If You’re Here…
If you’re here, it might feel like life has gotten loud — school, friends, family, pressure, decisions… and everyone seems to have an opinion about who you should be.
You might be feeling:
Stressed, overwhelmed, or checked out
Stuck between wanting independence and not wanting to disappoint anyone
Unsure what you want or where you’re headed
Tired of being misunderstood, labeled, or treated like you’re “the problem”
Ready for support that actually helps you feel grounded, not judged
What You’ll Build in This Program…
In Rooted & Real, teens learn how to:
Slow down and separate their own voice from everyone else’s expectations
Understand their stress responses and build emotional tools that actually work
Strengthen motivation and self-direction without pressure
Build healthier communication with parents, peers, and teachers
Develop confidence that comes from alignment — not perfection
Handle mistakes without spiraling into shame or shutdown
Teens walk away saying things like:
“Me and my mom are actually talking instead of arguing about things.”
“I feel like I think about what I’m going to say more.”
”I don’t feel stuck as much as I used to.”
READY TO START YOUR JOURNEY?
Why This Approach Works…
Most teen support focuses on behavior. This work focuses on the roots — nervous system awareness, identity development, and the emotional patterns that shape how they show up in the world.
When teens understand what’s happening inside, they stop reacting from fear or pressure and start acting from clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
Why I Built This Program
When I was growing up, I spent a lot of time quietly overwhelmed. I didn’t know who I was yet — and I didn’t know who to ask. Everything felt like the wrong decision, so I froze. I kept people happy because it was the only way I knew how to stay safe. On the outside, I looked “fine.” On the inside, I was constantly waiting for the sky to fall in.
This program exists to give teens the support I didn’t have — real tools, real language, and a space that doesn’t pressure them to “be fixed.” Identity is not a rush job. It’s a process. And when you have the right support, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

What’s Included in Every Rooted & Real Intensive
Between-Session Practices
Short, simple tools your teen can use at home or school — grounding practices, micro-regulation steps, identity exploration prompts, communication templates, and small experiments to try in real life.
They’re always doable, never overwhelming.
Parent Check-In Calls
These focused 45-minute sessions allow parents to get clarity, receive guidance, and understand how to support the work their teen is doing — without putting pressure on the teen or turning therapy into family conflict.
They are not family therapy — they’re strategic coaching for parents so your teen’s progress continues at home. Teens may be asked to join when appropriate and on a case by case basis. I believe in accountability and follow through.
Optional Add-On Workbooks ($5 each)
• Managing Substance Use
• Managing Social Media
• Managing Gaming
This Program is For Teens Who:
✅ Want tools to handle stress, anxiety, or overwhelm at school or at home.
✅ Struggle with oppositional behavior, noncompliance, or repeated conflict at home.
✅ Want help with motivation, structure, or direction
✅ Feel misunderstood or mislabeled
✅ Want communication with parents to feel less explosive or confusing
✅ Want clearer boundaries, stronger relationships, and ways to express themselves without fear or pressure.
This Program Is Not For Teens Who:
❌ Want to keep doing things the same way and aren’t interested in changing old patterns.
❌ Expect others to fix everything for them instead of taking responsibility for their own choices.
❌ Are not open to reflection or self-awareness — or would rather avoid the deeper work of growth.
❌ Are looking for quick fixes without putting in the effort to understand themselves and others.
❌ Prefer to shut down, blame, or check out instead of working toward repair, clarity, and growth.
